This notice explains how Mira Software Solutions ("we", "us"), the company behind Mirwe, handles personal information collected through mirwe.com, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
What we collect
When you request a demo, we collect only what you type into the form:
- your name and work email address
- your brand name
- where you sell today and roughly how many products you have
To protect the form from spam we also record a one-way scrambled version of your IP address (we never store the address itself) and your browser type, and Google reCAPTCHA checks that the request comes from a real browser.
Why we use it
Only to contact you about the demo you asked for, and to keep the form free of abuse. We don't sell your information, and we don't add you to marketing emails.
Who processes it for us
- our cloud hosting provider — hosting and storage
- Google reCAPTCHA — checking that demo requests come from a real browser
- our email delivery provider — sending the confirmation email
Some of these providers may process information outside South Africa, under safeguards POPIA requires.
How long we keep it
Demo requests are deleted automatically 12 months after you send them, or sooner if you ask.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. You can also object to how we use it, or lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator.
